We've had a pretty mild winter here in NYC. Since the snow is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I haven't posted any pictures of my little pup Gizmo (who turned 1 years old this week) in awhile, I thought I would post some images of Gizmo's first snow that I took in Colorado in December. Gizzie loved the snow so much! He was jumping around and digging in it. He was so adorable. I hope you can really see the movement in these images! Happy Happy Birthday little guy. We love you so much!
Gizmo has a little girlfriend named Eloise. They love each other so much! They could literally play all day non stop. They kiss each other. They tug each other's fur. They jump. They tangle leashes.
And they even dress up together for Halloween!
Happy Happy Halloween!
I am in Vancouver with Giz for a few days. And boy does he have a lot of friends here already. Everyone in my family has a small dog. It's going to be a crazy fun time! Meet Giz, Cash, Oscar, Lulubelle, Amber, and Puffy.
P.S. You should have seen us shouting, screaming and waving at our dogs to try and get this smiling shot! haha!
I was in Shelter Island this weekend shooting a wedding. It was incredible to be out there on the water photographing an adorable couple. More to come on that and the other shoots I have been busy with, but I wanted to share our new puppy's name: Gizmo.
Gizmo came to us named Gizmo. We were toying with the idea of changing it, but the more we think about it, the more perfect it is. It's super hot in NYC today, so I took the little guy out on a quick walk (I must admit, we are doing a lot of walks with this whole potty training thing! haha!). I love his little ears. I love the way he smiles with his eyes.
WOOHOOO!! I have been dying to get a dog for such a long time. And we found the perfect little guy. I went and picked him up yesterday. He has an adorable personality. Super sweet. Gentle. Playful. I didn't know I could fall in love so quickly.
He has never been in a city before. The honks. The buses. The cabs. The people. It's a lot for a little guy. He's getting used to everything really quickly.
I will be blogging about him a lot! I promise to take him out and do some sunflare shots with him. ;) But for now, here he is on his second day home.
P.S. Superman! That last picture is him jumping off the couch over the right side of me as I was snapping away. I love it! He knows already that I like action shots. ha!
P.P.S. We are still trying to figure out his name, so stay tuned!
Lauren's cats (Ben and Boscoe) are adorable! I have never photographed cats before, and I thought for sure they would be running wild all over the house. But no. They were posing for the camera (see last picture of the series for evidence of perfect posing! haha).
