"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." - Walk Streightiff

When I photograph children, I see through their eyes. I see a world of freedom. A world of playful laughter and games. A world of drawing letters with sticks in the sand. A world of learning. A world of wonder. One of my favorite things about being around children is that they are free to say what they are thinking. They aren't pressured yet but society's view of what they should or shouldn't say. They say what they think. Flat out. Doesn't matter. And that is refreshing.

Last year Olivia, Cooper and I played in Central Park for their 3 year old shoot. And this year, they are 4. They love to watch Curious George and Yo Gabba Gabba. They are learning how to spell. C is for Cooper and clouds and castle. They love to learn about the ducks at their school. We roamed around a castle in Central Park. We played on the lawn. We zoomed down the slide in the playground. We talked about diapers and pink glitter shoes. We ran. We walked. We jumped on rocks. And when it was over, I got the biggest hugs on earth. Thank you for a beautiful day in the park and for showing me your world!
